Basics of upholstery - armchairs 25.1.2025

(Our courses are usually held in Czech language, but the teachers speaks English - so you won't miss anything. If you are group of 4 people, we can do a course held in English just for U).

9am-7pm at our workshop in New new studio

+ undressing the armchair before the course (at home or in our workshop)

We will upholster armchairs WITHOUT CONE SPRINGS. Which armchairs are suitable and which not?

We will show you how to refresh your old armchair – it will be given new straps, foam rubber filling, fabric etc...

Before the course it is necesarry to ,,undress'' the armchair – you can do it at home or preferably in our workshop -after prior arrangement - in our opening hours – cause it can take 1-2 hours to do so.

BASIC INFO:

The price includes all material, equipment and refreshment – EXCEPT FABRIC. If you don't have any armchair/chair, you can try to choose furniture from our warehouse, the price depends on the type and condition of the selected item.

We suggest to choose the fabric on time. If you plan to order it, you'll need 1-2 weeks. Otherwise, we recommend looking, for example, at Mráz, Flextex fabric stores, IKEA also has cheap, heavier weight fabrics. The fabric should be firm, suitable for upholstery (min. 250g/m2).

What to bring: armchair + fabric

CONDITIONS:

Cancellation of participation in the course
if canceled at least one week in advance, we will refund 100% of the course fee
If canceled 5 days in advance, we refund half of the amount.
Unfortunately, later cancellations can no longer be taken into account and the course fee is not refunded in such a case.
In the case of using a voucher, if you cancel your participation within 5 days, you can use an alternative date, if you cancel later, your voucher can't be used again.
However, you can find a replacement for yourself at any time, just write to us!
